The first Cash coin wanted nothing to do with me.
It landed on the reels, flashed its value, then shot straight upward into the Golden Pot.
Gone.
A few spins later, another did exactly the same thing.
Then another.
777 Rainbow Rampage had apparently placed a large golden container above the reels for one specific purpose: intercepting any money that looked as though it might become useful.
I was on €0.60.
The rest of the screen was doing its best to distract from this.
Red 7s.
Blue 7s.
Green 7s.
Horseshoes.
Clovers.
A red-bearded leprechaun wearing enough green to camouflage himself inside his own hat.
And behind everything, a rainbow arcing toward a second pot of gold because apparently one pot was nowhere near enough for this particular man.
A line of mixed 7s paid first.
Then horseshoes.
Small stuff.
The leprechaun Wild landed next and expanded over the entire reel.
Three positions of him.
Same hat.
Same beard.
Same expression.
He helped connect another line and returned a little more.
Then disappeared.
The gold above the reels continued behaving much more suspiciously.
Cash symbol.
Up to the pot.
Nothing.
Another Cash symbol.
Up.
Still nothing.
The pot kept swallowing coins without so much as a rainbow burp.
Two Bonus symbols appeared.
No third.
A few spins later, two again.
Still no feature.
I switched Boost Play on.
The machine lit the increased bonus chance panel.
If the leprechaun wanted encouragement, he could have it.
The next few spins still gave me horseshoes and lonely 7s.
Then another Cash symbol landed.
It rose into the Golden Pot.
This time the pot reacted.
Rainbow light poured across the reels.
The leprechaun Wild expanded.
Then changed.
Wild Collect.
Now the entire reel was occupied by a red-bearded man who had upgraded from substituting for symbols to confiscating coins personally.
There were Cash symbols on the screen with him.
He collected them.
The values disappeared into his side of the spin.
Then his multiplier hit the collected total.
The win counter finally moved with some conviction.
The rainbow had spent most of the session decorating the horizon.
Now it had apparently granted one leprechaun enhanced coin-removal privileges.
The hit pushed the session forward.
Not enough to settle anything.
Enough to make every Cash symbol immediately interesting.
A red 777 combination landed after that.
Then blue 7s.
A clover line.
Another expanding Wild covered a reel and helped horseshoes connect.
All useful.
Still, every time one of those orange Cash coins appeared, I watched it before anything else.
Land.
Flash.
Fly upward.
Golden Pot.
Sometimes nothing.
The pot was becoming less a treasure destination and more a one-way migration route.
Eventually it opened.
Leprechaun’s Gold Toss.
The hoard came back down.
Coins sprayed onto random reel positions.
One.
Then another.
Enough Cash symbols landed to trigger Hold & Spin.
The triggering values pulled together into one Coin in the centre.
Three spins.
Now the reels had stopped pretending to be about 7s.
This was all gold.
First spin.
New Coin.
Counter back to three.
Another landed.
Reset again.
The field began filling.
Then the green Collect modifier appeared.
No visible Cash value of its own.
It simply gathered what was already there.
The existing Coin values lit and paid.
They stayed part of the feature’s growing mess.
Next came Add.
The blue modifier landed with a value and pushed that amount into the Cash Coins already sitting across the reel area.
Every Coin improved together.
The leprechaun had moved from stealing individual coins to seasoning the entire pile.
Then red.
Double.
It selected several visible Coins.
Those values doubled.
One small Coin became respectable.
Another became properly useful.
The third stayed exactly where it was, apparently having failed the clover inspection.
The spin counter kept resetting whenever another Coin arrived.
The grid grew tighter.
One reel became almost completely occupied.
Then the final empty position filled.
The whole reel lit.
Its Cash values combined.
The stored amount dropped down into the pot underneath that reel.
This game now had gold in the large pot above the reels, gold in pots underneath completed reel strips, and gold still sitting directly on the screen.
The leprechaun had achieved a full vertical distribution of treasure.
A second Collect arrived later.
Useful.
Not huge.
More Coins landed.
One more Add increased the field.
Then two empty spins brought the counter down.
Last chance.
No new Coin.
Hold & Spin ended.
A good result.
But not enough to make all the pot architecture look entirely necessary.
The base game returned.
The Golden Pot went straight back to sitting above the reels as though it had not just emptied part of itself onto the screen and then watched me put the money into smaller pots underneath.
A few normal spins passed.
Green 7s.
Nothing.
Horseshoes.
Small line.
Then Bonus symbols arrived.
One.
Two.
Three.
Fourth.
Four together.
Ten Free Spins.
The rainbow brightened.
The leprechaun’s job changed again.
Inside the feature, the Wild no longer needed the rainbow to become Wild Collect.
That was simply what he did now.
First Free Spin.
Very little.
Second.
A Cash symbol landed.
The Golden Pot reacted by sending more Coins onto the reels.
Coin Feature.
They scattered across open positions.
No Wild Collect.
The gold stayed where it was.
Third spin.
Another Coin Feature added more.
Then the leprechaun arrived.
Full reel.
Wild Collect.
x3.
The visible Cash symbols lit.
He gathered them.
x3 applied to the collected total.
The win jumped.
The entire reel was now one enormous green man taking every loose coin within reach and charging triple for the service.
Next Free Spin.
No Wild.
A couple of ordinary 7s paid.
Then more Cash symbols arrived.
The pot added others.
The screen started looking less like a slot and more like the aftermath of a rainbow breaking open above a mint.
Then another Wild Collect landed.
x2 this time.
He expanded.
Collected.
Paid.
Useful again.
The feature kept moving.
A red 777 line connected with a Wild Collect in the middle of it.
That mattered twice.
The leprechaun substituted into the normal line.
Then the multiplier on him applied to the winning line as well.
The same tiny man was now collecting coins and multiplying 7s without changing hats.
A couple of spins cooled off.
One Cash symbol.
No collector.
A horseshoe line.
Then the pot triggered another Coin Feature.
More Coins fell.
Several values now sat across different reels.
This was the screen I wanted the leprechaun to visit.
The next spin turned.
Wild.
Expanded.
Wild Collect.
x5.
There he was.
Cash symbols had landed on the same reel activity.
The visible values lit.
Collected.
The x5 bit into the total.
The counter started moving quickly.
Past the best Rainbow hit.
Past the earlier Collect from Hold & Spin.
Then past the whole Hold & Spin result.
The leprechaun stood across his full reel while coins disappeared into him one after another.
The rainbow behind the game looked less decorative now.
It looked like the route every coin had taken before being returned with unreasonable interest.
One Free Spin remained.
A Wild Collect appeared again.

Fewer Cash symbols this time.
Smaller harvest.
Still useful.
The feature ended with the session comfortably in front.
The reels returned to their normal 5×3 shape.
The same 7s came back.
The same clovers.
The same horseshoes.
The same Golden Pot above them all.
I stayed for a handful of spins.
One small red 7 line.
Nothing.
Then one final Cash symbol landed.
It flashed.
Lifted off the reels.
Flew straight into the Golden Pot.
The pot swallowed it.
No Gold Toss.
No Rainbow.
No feature.
The leprechaun stood beside the reels with exactly the same smile.
After everything else he had collected, multiplied, thrown, stored and recollected, he kept the last coin.
Gold Oasis made me feel like an unpaid intern in a slot machine.
