The Egyptian themed genre is of course an ever popular one and every developer will release a slot with an Ancient Egypt theme at some point in their career. Circular Arrow have opted to do this for their first release and we have to give them credit for doing this.

When we first started the Ark of Ra slot demo we had no expectations but we were in fact pleasantly surprised by the quality of the visuals and audio. It reminds us a bit of slots by another well known developer and this is definitely a good thing. The design team have done a good enough job to make this one stand out from the majority of Ancient Egypt themed slots.

Gameplay wise though we feel that this one is a bit on the mediocre side of things, the coin collect feature is ok but nothing special and pretty much the same can be said for the free spins round.

In the end though its not a bad effort for the first release by Circular Arrow and we do think there is enough here to at least give the demo a spin and we for sure are looking forward to their second release.
