Three Wilds were wedged across the middle of the canyon.

Then the Buffalo started crossing.
One herd came in from the first reel.
More brown bodies filled the fifth.
Buffalo crowded around the three Wilds until the centre of the screen looked like the only narrow pass left through an entire valley of horns.
The first way lit.

Another followed.

Then another.
Eagles found a route above them.
Deer slipped through lower down.
The canyon had become one long stampede being squeezed through three glowing cracks in the rock.
The counter went past €50.
Then €80.
Then €100.
Still more Buffalo.
Around €145 before the dust finally settled.
That was not how the session had started.
At €1.20, Buffalo Supreme had initially behaved like a very polite wildlife preserve.
Five reels.
Four rows.
Sandstone cliffs.
Dry grass.
Buffalo.
Wolf.
Deer.
Lynx.
Eagle.
Everybody appeared.
Nobody seemed interested in travelling as a group.
A few wolves crossed for a small payment.
Deer followed later.
An eagle way added a little more.
The Buffalo themselves kept arriving one or two at a time, standing among the other animals like they had wandered into the canyon separately and were trying not to make eye contact.
For a game called Buffalo Supreme, the opening stretch contained a suspicious amount of Buffalo Mild.
Then four Scatters landed together.
No slow build.
No final reel hanging for drama.
Four gold symbols simply arrived and opened 15 Free Spins.
The herd had been somewhere.
It just had not been on my screen yet.
The bonus changed that quickly.
Buffalo started appearing more often.
First one on the left.
Then two farther across.
Then a whole side of the reels carrying enough brown bodies to make the canyon feel narrower.
The Wilds could only land on reels 2, 3 and 4.
That made those three columns the only passes that mattered.
Buffalo could gather on the outside.
Wolves could pace around.
Eagles could circle wherever they liked.
But when a Wild appeared in the middle, the entire valley changed.
The first useful one landed on reel three.
x2.
Buffalo sat on reel one.
Another appeared beyond the centre.
Eagles found ways through the same Wild.
The multiplier doubled everything useful crossing that middle point.
Around €14.
Not a huge hit.
Enough to teach the herd where the gap in the rocks was.
A few spins later, reel four produced x3.
This time deer were lined up better.
Buffalo sat farther out.
The x3 joined them.
Around €18.
The canyon had now demonstrated two different ways to make wildlife heavier without changing the wildlife at all.
A Buffalo on its own was still a Buffalo.
Make it cross a Wild and suddenly the same animal arrived on the other side carrying twice or three times the value.
By the middle of the bonus I had stopped looking at all five reels equally.
The outer reels supplied animals.
The centre decided what those animals became.
Reel two.
Reel three.
Reel four.
Every spin, the same question.
Which of the three passes opens?
The first proper crush came when two Wilds landed together.
x2 on reel two.
x3 on reel four.
They multiplied.
x6.
Buffalo crossed.
Wolves crossed.
An eagle way found the same route.
The animal symbols had done nothing especially clever.
They had simply wandered through two Wilds in the correct order and emerged six times more valuable.
The spin reached around €35.
For one moment the canyon looked as though somebody had carved multiplication into the cliff walls and the entire herd had decided to test it.
Then the feature quietened.
Buffalo without Wilds.
A few ways.
One x2 with hardly anything useful around it.
A deer payment.
The herd kept moving, but the canyon had stopped amplifying every hoofbeat.
Then two Scatters landed.
During Free Spins, two were enough.
Five more spins.
The counter jumped.
The Buffalo had reached the far end of the valley and discovered another valley attached to it.
Those extra spins mattered immediately because the feature had already shown x2, x3 and x6.
There was only one obvious way for the middle three reels to become more unreasonable.
At first they refused.
One extension spin loaded reel one and reel five with Buffalo.
No Wild in the middle.
A perfect herd separated by empty canyon.
Another spin brought x3.
The Buffalo chose that exact moment to disappear and send wolves and deer instead.
Useful.
Wrong animals.
Then the three middle reels finally filled.
Wild x2.
Wild x3.
Wild x2.
Every pass occupied.
x12.
And this time the Buffalo were already there.
Reel one carried them.
Reel five carried them.
More Buffalo sat around the Wild centre.
The first way ran through all three multipliers.
x12.
Another herd path lit.
x12.
Then another.
The screen became a brown wall of Buffalo broken only by glowing Wilds and the occasional deer trying to survive the migration.
The counter shot past €40.
Then €70.
More ways counted.
Past €100.
The Buffalo kept finding paths through the same three glowing reels, as though the canyon had developed several separate trails and every one of them happened to lead through x12.
Eagles joined from above.
Deer slipped through underneath.
Around €145 when the spin finally stopped.
That was the Supreme part.
Not one giant Buffalo.
Not a special golden herd.
Just too many Buffalo, too little canyon, and three multiplier Wilds standing exactly where every animal wanted to go.
The next spin looked almost empty by comparison.
Several Buffalo.
No Wild.
A few ways.
Small money.
After x12, ordinary wildlife had lost some of its authority.
Another spin produced x3.
Wolves used it.
Then x2 arrived on a later spin and helped a Buffalo group.
The bonus kept adding.
Nothing recreated the full stampede.
One late spin managed x2 and x3 together.
Back to x6.
For a second the middle of the canyon was dangerous again.
The outer reels responded with one useful Buffalo route, a deer way and several animals standing in places that helped nobody.
Six-times multiplication.
One proper herd.
A lot of rocks.
The canyon had opened two perfect passes and most of the Buffalo had chosen another hill.
The remaining Free Spins kept the total climbing.
An eagle way.
More deer.
One modest Buffalo hit through x2.
By then the feature had pushed past €250.
Last Free Spin.
The reels stopped.
Scatter.
One.
No second Scatter.
No extra five spins.
No Wild.
No new herd.
Just one gold symbol standing in the middle of the valley after everything else had already crossed.
The feature finished around €275.
The base game had taken roughly €22 before the four-Scatter trigger.
Still a strong session.
The canyon returned to its quieter shape.
The multiplier Wilds vanished from the middle.
The Buffalo thinned out.
The dust settled.
For one final moment, that single Scatter remained.
Fifteen Free Spins had become twenty.
x2 had become x3.
x2 and x3 had become x6.
Three Wilds had turned the whole herd into x12.
Then Buffalo Supreme left one gold Scatter behind in an empty canyon.
The herd had already gone.
