The queen arrived late, blocked the Scatter, and asked where everybody was going.

The first Wild landed on reel three.

Fire immediately destroyed four cheap gems.

They came back as Wilds.

A purple dragon head connected across the middle, a sword found another line underneath it, and the €2 spin became €14.40.

I had pressed the button once.

Fire had apparently spent the time between sessions remaining furious.

When Dragonrise loaded, its stone alcove above the reels was already glowing orange.

That part had survived the previous session.

Fire was permanently unlocked and still awake.

Earth had also been unlocked earlier, although the green dragon remained motionless inside its stone.

Ice was still trapped completely.

Storm looked as though nobody had disturbed it for several thousand years and it intended to keep the arrangement.

The Flaming Cauldron burned beside the reels.

Its progress had survived too.

Blue flame moved around the Crystal Wilds already stored inside it, leaving Ice considerably closer to freedom than it had been the first time I saw the statue.

The Mage stood behind the five-by-three grid stirring the thing.

Four primordial dragons had been imprisoned in stone.

The chosen method of releasing them remained a large pot.

I kept the stake at €2.

Fire had just taken a collection of low-value gemstones, found them unacceptable as gemstones and converted them into Wilds by setting them on fire.

That seemed like enough assistance without increasing the price.

The next few spins were quieter.

Three blue gems paid €1.

A sword line returned €2.

Then several arrangements landed without anything useful touching the twenty paylines.

Whenever an ordinary Wild appeared, Fire reacted.

Orange light moved from the alcove.

Low symbols on the reels burned away.

Sometimes the replacements helped.

Sometimes Fire incinerated several perfectly serviceable pieces of jewellery and produced absolutely nothing connected on the other side.

It was a dragon.

Long-term planning was not part of the visual design.

After nine paid spins, the balance had returned exactly to €300.

The opening €14.40 had been gradually consumed by eight quieter attempts, which returned only €3.60 between them.

Nothing dramatic had happened to that first win.

It had simply done its job and kept the session level.

The tenth spin changed the ceiling.

A Dragon Emblem landed on reel one.

Another appeared in the centre.

The last reel stopped with a third.

The camera lifted above the grid.

Dragonfire crossed the cavern roof.

Ten Free Spins opened.

Fire came with them.

Earth still slept.

The first spin produced a small €2 line from rings.

The second went nowhere.

On the third, an Elemental Wild arrived in orange stone.

Fire moved.

Cheap gems burned.

Wilds replaced them.

A chalice connected through the new positions.

The running feature total reached €8.80.

The next spin dropped a green Earth Dragon Wild.

The dragon above the reels cracked awake.

Green light ran through its stone.

Earth looked down at several low symbols and reached a different conclusion from Fire.

Nothing needed burning.

It simply needed to become more expensive.

A green gem changed into a sword.

Another low symbol became a chalice.

A third improved into the dark ring.

The resulting lines added €4.20.

Fire destroyed poverty.

Earth upgraded it.

The two dragons had been awake together for less than a spin and already disagreed on methodology.

Earth stayed active.

That mattered immediately.

Another ordinary Wild landed two spins later.

Fire flared first.

Two low symbols burned into Wilds.

Earth followed and improved two more.

A purple dragon head connected through the mess for €8.

The Mage continued stirring the Cauldron as though two ancient creatures modifying the same fifteen positions in incompatible elemental directions was still part of a controlled ritual.

The remaining Free Spins stayed small.

A €1.60 return.

Several empty grids.

One last Fire intervention that produced Wilds in places with nothing expensive enough to connect.

The ten spins finished at €22.60.

My balance went to €320.60.

That was fine.

The feature had also done something money could not show properly.

Earth was awake now.

It stayed awake when the normal reels returned.

Fire and Earth both occupied their alcoves above the grid with light behind their eyes.

Ice remained stone.

The Cauldron remained unfinished.

The Mage returned immediately to stirring.

There was no sense of having completed anything.

A Crystal Wild landed four paid spins later.

The Cauldron pulled it away from the reels.

Blue fire rose.

Ice did not move.

A few more spins passed.

One sword line returned €2.

Earth upgraded low symbols on another spin but nothing connected.

Fire burned a pair of gems into Wilds and rescued €1.20.

A purple dragon head produced €4.60 without either dragon contributing.

Twelve paid spins cost €24 and brought €7.80 back.

The balance was €304.40.

The Cauldron had advanced.

That was enough reason to leave the stake alone.

Another Crystal Wild arrived.

Blue flame climbed higher around the stone rim.

A faint icy light appeared between the cracks in the third dragon.

Still locked.

Still stone.

One more fill remained.

The next few spins took their time.

Two rings.

Nothing.

A Basic Wild caused Fire and Earth to react together, but the converted symbols landed around the wrong sides of the paylines.

Another spin paid €2.

A chalice line later produced another €2.

The Cauldron sat where it had been.

The Mage stirred.

Ice remained one Crystal Wild away from becoming everybody’s problem.

On the eighth spin of that stretch, the symbol landed.

Pale crystal.

Basic Wild.

The Mage pulled its light toward the Cauldron.

The blue flame climbed out of the bowl.

Ice cracked.

A line opened across the dragon’s stone chest.

Then another across one wing.

The shell broke apart.

Cold blue light filled the alcove.

Ice opened its eyes.

The Cauldron dropped back to the beginning of a new, larger target.

Storm was next.

I had €292.40.

Ice had been permanently available for approximately three seconds.

I pressed spin.

Its Wild landed on reel two.

No introduction.

No period of adjustment.

The Ice dragon moved.

Blue light covered the Wild.

It froze in place.

The other reels spun again around it.

A re-spin.

A Basic Wild landed on reel four.

That was enough.

Fire flared.

Earth moved.

Ice held its position.

Four low symbols went through Fire first.

Three came back Wild.

Earth upgraded two surviving low symbols elsewhere into a sword and a purple dragon head.

The frozen Ice Wild remained in the second reel, linking the whole argument together.

The first evaluation moved the sequence to €8.80.

Ice was not finished.

The Wild stayed.

Another re-spin.

Fresh symbols fell around it.

A new Wild arrived on the final reel.

Fire reacted again.

More low gems vanished into orange light.

Earth improved the symbols that escaped the flames.

The purple dragon head now reached through the frozen Wild and across the Fire-created replacements.

A second line used the upgraded sword.

Another crossed three Wilds through the centre.

The total moved through €24.40.

Then the last transformed symbols settled.

€56.80.

The sequence stopped.

My balance reached €347.20.

Ice had spent several thousand years trapped in stone and required exactly one paid spin to justify the release.

Fire stayed awake.

Earth stayed awake.

Ice stayed awake.

Above the reels there were now three different elemental opinions about what a low symbol deserved.

Storm remained silent.

The next seven spins were much smaller.

One Ice response froze a Wild and created a re-spin worth €2.40.

Another ordinary Wild caused Fire and Earth to work over the grid but ended at €3.20.

Five other spins contributed nothing.

Those seven spins cost €14 and returned €5.60.

During one of them, another Crystal Wild appeared.

It fed the Cauldron.

The new target barely moved.

Storm required more.

That seemed fair.

By now the Mage had already released fire, geology and refrigerated hostility from stone.

Weather could wait.

The balance stood at €338.80.

I paid for one more €2 spin.

A Basic Wild landed in the middle.

All three awake dragons moved.

Fire burned the low symbols nearest it.

Earth upgraded two others.

Ice froze the Wild in place and forced the reels to try again around it.

The re-spin added another Wild.

Fire went back to work.

Earth changed a cheap gem into the purple dragon head.

The frozen centre held everything together.

Several paylines crossed through the same patch of elemental vandalism.

€31.20.

The balance reached €368.

The reels settled.

Fire still glowed orange above them.

Earth remained lit green.

Ice gave off a cold blue light from the third alcove.

The Mage went back to the Cauldron.

One Crystal Wild burned inside the new target.

At the far end, Storm was still completely stone.

Not a crack.

Not an eye.

Not even the courtesy of pretending to wake up.

Three dragons were enough for one session.

The RTP in Area Link Bank Boss is just a suggestion.
