As always with Red Tiger slots the RTP is a little below where we would like to see it but the maximum win amount is very good even for a high variance slot such as this.

First impressions of this rather “gold” themed slot machine are actually very good. Red Tiger have made quite a few very polished looking and sounding slot machines in the past and this one is up there with the very best. It really does look and sound fantastic and we could not wait to spin the reels when we saw it for the first time.

At the top of each reel (except for the middle one) you will see a Lion’s head, you need to collect 4 diamonds on a reel in order to turn that reel into a diamond reel. When this happens Mystery stones come into play on that reel. Mystery stones remain fixed in place and change their symbol until they are part of a winning combination. To top it off if four wilds are revealed by the Mystery stones then they turn into a Super Wild until they make up part of a win.

Then there is the blue diamond scatter symbol which if it lands on the middle reel will instantly turn all reels into diamond reels, any existing diamond reels will see an increase in multiplier.

Now if all this sounds a little complicated it really is not and you will figure it out with just a few spins of the demo. So once again Red Tiger have made a slot with no free spins and whereas in the past this has not always worked out we feel that for Lions Hoard it actually has.

The way this slot is setup there is always some action going on and you are always hoping for either the Blue Diamond or an increase in multipliers and turning the whole reel into a wild. It gets a lot more exciting when multiple diamond reels come into play and as you would expect this is where we landed most of our big wins.

All in all this is quite an interesting release from Red Tiger resulting in slot machine that we think many players on our site will enjoy.
