Those last two numbers are of course decent (and pretty standard) but as noted above this slot does come in different RTP versions. Each of these are lower than 96.55% and of course therefore make Mystic Chief less attractive for real money play.

The first thing you will notice when starting Mystic Chief for the first time is the slightly non standard layout, the reels are set out in a 3,4,4,4,3 pattern which is of course how you get to a slot with 576 paylines.

No prizes are awarded for guessing what the theme is, its the quite popular Native American theme which has seen some solid slots being released in the past.

Gameplay wise The Chief symbol acts as an expanding Wild and instantly awards a multiplier of up to 10x. If you have multiple Chiefs making an appearance you will end up with the multipliers being added together.

This can of course result in a big win when playing the base game however your best chance of landing one is (as you would expect it to be) the bonus round which awards 8 free spins. We should also mention that the symbol responsible for triggering it namely the Dreamcatcher will also add non expanding wilds to the base game if you land 2 of them instead of the three required to trigger the bonus round.

If it appears during the free spins 2 more free spins are awarded, if you get lucky and land two of them super free spins are triggered. On the plus side you will then get non sticky wilds come into play on the down side you will not be able to retrigger the round as the bonus symbols are removed from the reels when the Super Free Spins are activated.

All in all Mystic Chief marks another slot where Pragmatic Play have gone for something non standard (which is a good thing) but we did find it hard to really enjoy this one. Most of their recent releases feature the same statistics and winning potential and are worth a few spins but they are not as exciting and fun as some of the slots that this developer has released.
