18+ Only. Play Responsibly.
The game put Zeus in a blue cloud on the left and a man whose hair was literally on fire on the right, then asked me how volatile I felt.
THUNDER.
High.
UNDERWORLD.
Very High.
Hades stood in lava holding a burning weapon.
Zeus had marble columns and weather.
I chose weather.
The screen turned blue.
Clouds rolled behind the reels. Marble framed everything. Pegasus appeared immediately on the first spin, followed by a golden cup, a helmet and several letters that had somehow gained divine lighting despite still being J, Q and K.
€1.20 disappeared.
Nothing returned.
Second spin.
Zeus himself landed low on the first reel, white beard glowing, one hand full of lightning.
Two more ordinary symbols connected around him.
€2.40.
Good.
I had selected one ancient god over another based mainly on background temperature and already received enough money to continue the theology.
Thunder vs Underworld 250 started feeding me winged horses after that.
Pegasus on reel one.
Pegasus on three.
Another on five where it could admire the other two without helping.
Golden helmets appeared.
Eagles crossed the screen.
Cups sat between them looking like somebody had arranged refreshments for an argument between immortal beings.
The first Lightning Wild arrived on spin nine.
Blue bolt.
Gold border.
It landed on reel four with a winning line already available around it.
The symbol expanded.
The entire reel became lightning.
x3 appeared above it.
A modest line crossed through.
€4.80.
Then the reel returned to normal.
Zeus had just occupied an entire vertical strip of the temple with electricity to produce less than five euros.
Nobody in Olympus appeared concerned about efficiency.
I continued.
Hades remained unused somewhere behind the volatility menu.
That seemed increasingly sensible.
Several spins later, three Zeus portraits landed without forming anything useful.
One stared from reel one.
One from three.
One from five.
Three copies of the god of thunder had managed to stand across the reels and achieve less than a single lightning bolt.
Pegasus did better shortly afterward.
A four-reel line returned €3.60.
An eagle line produced €2.40.
The temple stayed active without doing anything large.
Then the Scatters started appearing.
The Thunder Scatter looked like a little blue temple on a cloud.
One landed on reel one.
Another appeared on reel five.
Reel three supplied a helmet.
The two temples vanished.
A few spins later, reel one got another.
Reel three joined it.
The fifth reel slowed.
Q.
The gods had architecture but poor coordination.
By spin thirty, the little returns had accumulated without stopping the slide.
A Zeus hit.
Some cups.
Pegasus again.
The blue sky remained bright.
Marble everywhere.
Lightning occasionally fired across the borders with the casual frequency of somewhere that had absolutely no building code for storms.
I stayed at €1.20.
Underworld still existed.
I did not need to visit a place where even the letters were on fire.
Spin thirty-six started.
Blue temple on reel one.
Another on reel three.
The fifth reel turned.
Pegasus.
Helmet.
Blue temple.
All three lit.
Ten Free Spins.
€43.20 had gone through the base game.
€28.80 had come back.
I was €14.40 down.
Zeus had ten spins to explain the clouds.
The first Free Spin landed a Lightning Wild on reel two.
It expanded immediately.
Whole reel.
x4.
A line of ordinary symbols crossed through it.
€1.20 before Zeus intervened.
€4.80 after.
The lightning reel stayed.
That changed the temple completely.
Spin two arrived with reel two still occupied by a vertical bolt.
Pegasus landed badly.
A cup appeared on the far side.
No line reached far enough to use the x4.
The permanent storm remained anyway.
Free Spin three added another Lightning Wild.
Reel four.
The bolt expanded from top to bottom.
x20.
I now had a x4 column on reel two and x20 on reel four.
Pegasus landed on reel one.
Another on reel three.
Another on reel five.
The horses had accidentally chosen the exact route between both thunderstorms.
The line crossed the first Wild.
Then the second.
x24.
The ordinary win underneath it was €2.00.
The screen went white-blue.
€48.00.
Five winged horses had just crossed a temple through two columns of divine electricity and come out worth forty-eight euros.
Pegasus had finally understood public transport.
Both Wild reels stayed.
Zeus had two permanent lightning columns occupying forty percent of the visible temple.
The next Free Spin dropped letters around them.
A Q on the first reel reached through x4 before the line died at reel four.
€9.60.
Free Spin five produced a glorious arrangement of gold cups that managed not to connect correctly through either Wild.
Nothing.
Two permanent lightning reels.
Zero.
The gods had invented renewable electricity and then put the cups in the wrong places.
Free Spin six started with helmets on reels one and three.
Reel two was already Wild.
Reel four was already Wild.
A matching helmet reached far enough through both.
The underlying line was tiny.
x24 took over.
€12.00.
The multipliers remained.
The next spin supplied letters in several beautiful colours and no usable line.
Another zero.
Zeus kept the lightning switched on anyway.
At that point the entire feature had begun to look less like a temple and more like somebody had trapped a thunderstorm between marble columns and refused to evacuate Pegasus.
Free Spin eight gave me another smaller route through the x4 reel.
€6.00.
Spin nine repeated the trick for €4.80.
One Free Spin remained.
Two Lightning Wild columns still occupied reels two and four.
x4.
x20.
The first reel stopped on Zeus.
Not the Wild.
The actual white-bearded symbol.
He stared into the middle of his own electrical disaster.
Reel two was already lightning.
Reel three spun.
Lightning Wild.
It expanded.
x5.
Now reels two, three and four were all vertical Wilds.
Three consecutive columns of lightning.
Zeus on reel one.
The fifth reel slowed.
K.
No.
Pegasus.
No.
Zeus.
The line connected.
Zeus.
Lightning x4.
Lightning x5.
Lightning x20.
Zeus.
The three Wild multipliers added.
x29.
The line underneath them was worth €3.60.
The whole centre of the screen erupted.
The x4 column flashed.
The x5 lit beside it.
The x20 on reel four answered.
€104.40.
The feature total climbed past €100.
Past €150.
Then settled at €189.60.
Ten Free Spins had begun with one polite x4 lightning reel.
They ended with three consecutive columns of electricity trapping Zeus between copies of his own face.
Hades had spent the entire session unused.
No lava.
No burning Cerberus.
No Underworld.
No Very High.
Just clouds.
The base game had left me €14.40 down.
The Free Spins turned the session into €175.20 profit.
I did not give the temple another paid spin.
The feature screen was still holding the better ending.
Reel two: lightning.
Reel three: lightning.
Reel four: lightning.
Zeus on both sides.
Three Wild columns across the middle with x29 having just passed through them.
For once, the god of thunder had used far too much electricity for exactly the right reason.
Fiesta de la Memoria doesn’t end. It waits.
