Fifty studios enter. The filler waits outside pretending it has an appointment.

The diver arrived after the spin had already missed her.

That was the first useful thing the ocean did.

Three Cash Prize symbols were sitting across the reels.

Green.

Purple.

Orange.

An X had landed with them.

Top-right, the multiplier showed x4.

The only thing missing was the woman whose entire job was collecting the treasure.

Reel three.

Middle row.

Her one square.

Empty.

Then the water moved backward.

Just that central Hot Zone.

The symbol in it reversed.

The reel rolled back one position.

The diver appeared.

Vault of the Deep had constructed an entire drowned temple, filled it with jewels, chained a Grand above the reels and then decided its only treasure collector was allowed to enter through one exact underwater parking space.

Fortunately, the ocean had reverse gear.

The X had already reached the Cash Prizes.

The green one had grown under x4.

The purple too.

The orange had become considerably less decorative.

Then the Wild landed.

The diver spread her arms.

Everything came in.

Roughly €24 from a spin that had spent its first few seconds looking like the person responsible for salvaging the treasure had missed work.

I was playing at €1.00.

The reels sat inside a submerged stone vault with columns disappearing into green water and enough gold framing to suggest somebody had decorated the seabed before checking whether gold floats.

Red jeweled Cash Prize symbols drifted among A, K, Q and 10.

A Bonus anchor appeared occasionally.

The diver lived in the centre.

Above all of it sat four coloured Special Prizes and, much higher, the Grand.

5000x.

A number large enough to require its own ceiling.

The x4 had not appeared by accident.

Several 1 Up symbols earlier in the session had been pushing the multiplier upward.

x2.

Then x3.

Then x4.

The number sat at the top-right like a depth gauge that had become increasingly ambitious.

But the Cash Prizes did not care about it unless X arrived.

That made X important in a very underwater way.

The multiplier could be huge.

The treasure could be sitting right there.

Without X, everybody politely ignored the mathematics.

X was apparently the key that informed submerged cash it had become more expensive.

The rewind spin had used all of it properly.

x4.

X.

Wild.

Collect.

Then the temple went quieter.

A few 40-line wins came through.

A line of letters.

Some jeweled symbols.

Small returns.

The €24 slowly developed leaks.

Another 1 Up appeared.

x5.

That mattered much more than the line win beside it.

I stopped reading the reels as a normal slot.

There was the multiplier above.

The Hot Zone in the middle.

And every red Cash Prize symbol arriving somewhere around the diver’s single approved patch of water.

A Bonus anchor landed once without her.

Nothing.

Later the Wild arrived without Bonus.

She collected two small prizes.

Useful.

No vault.

Then both appeared together.

Bonus on the left.

Diver in the Hot Zone.

The reels darkened.

Vault Respins.

Three respins.

The diver stayed locked in the centre.

This time she was not swimming anywhere.

The vault had finally got her into the correct square and was apparently unwilling to risk another scheduling problem.

Everything else changed.

No letters.

No ordinary symbols.

Only Cash Prizes and 1 Up.

Empty positions waited around the locked Wild.

First respin.

Green Cash Prize.

Blue Cash Prize.

Both landed.

Counter straight back to three.

At x5, even those little colours had become respectable.

The green prize was only half a bet before the multiplier got involved.

Now it was €2.50.

Blue became €5.

They locked.

Next respin.

Nothing.

Two.

Then 1 Up landed.

x6.

Three respins again.

The vault had found a new object, so the clock forgot it had been counting down.

The 1 Up occupied its position.

The multiplier above the reels changed.

x6.

A purple Cash Prize arrived on the next spin.

One and a half bets became €9.

Locked.

Counter back to three.

The drowned vault was slowly furnishing itself with money.

Another green landed.

€3 at x6.

Then nothing.

Then Blue.

Reset again.

The board—no, the reels had stopped resembling reels at this point. Every surviving position looked like a little underwater display case waiting to be stuffed with another red prize.

Another 1 Up.

x7.

The top-right number climbed again.

The diver remained in the middle with both hands out, surrounded by treasure that was becoming more valuable simply because tiny 1 Up plaques kept falling into the room.

Then an orange Cash Prize landed.

That was the one.

Its raw value was 2.25x.

At x7 it became €15.75.

One small orange piece of treasure had just outgrown most of the earlier payline activity.

The vault locked it in place.

Three respins again.

The Grand still sat above everything.

5000x.

To reach it, every position needed filling.

There were still too many holes.

Green.

Reset.

Nothing.

Blue.

Reset.

Another 1 Up.

x8.

Now the multiplier looked completely inappropriate for the amount of empty water still visible in the vault.

A purple Cash Prize landed.

€12.

Another green.

€4.

The occupied positions were beginning to crowd the diver.

Red jewels on the left.

Cash on the right.

1 Up plaques among them.

The central Wild still fixed in her one legal square.

There were only a few empty spaces left.

Not one.

Not two.

Enough.

The Grand stayed far above the temple with its chains very much intact.

Three respins.

First miss.

Two.

Nothing landed.

The water just moved.

Second miss.

One.

A completely empty refill.

Every occupied prize remained where it was.

The diver remained in the centre.

The x8 glowed above.

Last respin.

I wanted anything.

Green.

Blue.

Another 1 Up that could no longer improve much without becoming ridiculous.

Anything red and jeweled.

The reels settled.

Nothing new.

Zero.

The vault stopped.

No Grand.

No full grid.

Just a room half converted into treasure storage with the diver still standing in the exact middle of it.

The Cash Prizes totalled out.

The feature landed somewhere in the high sixties.

Enough to drag the session back.

Not enough to make all the earlier leaks disappear.

Then the Golden Chest appeared.

Of course it did.

The vault had just spent several minutes filling itself with treasure, failed to open the enormous prize above the reels, and responded by bringing out another box.

The chest looked fatter than it had earlier.

All those collected Cash Prizes had made it visually larger.

It did not promise anything because of that.

It simply looked like somebody had been stuffing valuables into underwater luggage until the hinges became concerned.

Boxes appeared.

I picked one.

Purple.

Another.

Green.

Orange.

Green again.

Blue.

Then Green.

Three green chest symbols.

The green Special Prize.

It had crept upward during the session as green Cash Prizes kept landing.

A little over €8.

Not Grand.

Not orange.

Not the kind of chest result that causes sea life to evacuate the ruins.

Just enough.

The Golden Chest closed.

The vault returned.

Top-right, x8 disappeared.

x1.

That reset was almost violent.

A whole feature had spent its time teaching treasure to multiply underwater, and the moment it ended the number collapsed back to one as though none of the previous mathematics had survived decompression.

The Hot Zone sat empty again.

No diver.

No rewind.

Above the reels, the 5000x Grand remained exactly where it had been all session.

Untouched.

The diver had collected every visible red prize she could reach, stood in the middle of a vault while cash accumulated around her, watched the multiplier climb to x8 and then helped me open a chest inside a drowned temple.

The session finished only a few euros ahead.

Somewhere above all that, the biggest treasure in the ocean was still chained shut.

I triggered the bonus. Rise of Olympus 1000 triggered me.
