The numbers of What the Fox Megaways certainly do not set it apart from the rest, everything including the RTP is pretty standard for a Red Tiger and Megaways slot. RTP slightly below 96% (we actually consider it to be on  the low side at 95.71% but that’s a Red Tiger thing), high volatility and decent winning potential.

First impressions of this slot are good, Red Tiger have opted for a Vegas style casino theme which has been well executed, lots of action on the screen surrounding the reels so you do get the feeling you are in a Vegas casino neighbourhood and the action style background music helps to create this feel.

That just leaves us with the gameplay which at a first glance is rather bland. (we could be more descriptive but we could not come up with a more to the point word then bland). It looks like just your standard Megaways layout without the extra row on top so the only real action appears to be when you manage to trigger the free spins.

Land three Foxy Spins icons on the reels and you are awarded up to 20 free spins with a starting multiplier of up to 10, it all depends what you spin on the wheel, as usual with each win the multiplier is increased up to a maximum of 20x. That’s not really a spectacular number either although Wily Wilds can result in multiplying your win by up to 7x and it is possible to land 3 of them on the reels resulting in a 343x multiplier which makes the slot a lot more interesting than it looks at a first glance.

This makes What the Fox Megaways better than the average Megaways slot of which we are seeing a lot but we still would not call it a great slot just a decent one.
